VTUG at Gillette Stadium No Charge Technology Event, MUST ATTEND-Cloud, Containers, DevOps, Virtualization and MORE!

This is an AWESOME Event.  I have been attending all VTUG events for years.  They provide a wealth of knowledge on many topics.  This is a not your typical user group event.  It is more like a small scale national event but it is put on by the community for the Technology Community.   Any other event of this caliber would likely cost $1200 or more.  In order to provide this excellent event at an unmatched facility this community organization usually lines up 40-50 sponsors to pay for everything.  There are breakouts for many of the sponsors so you can pick a few of them to visit to go deeper to learn more about their offerings.  You could also visit them at their booth which is held in the concourse used by the season pass holders of Club Seats.  If you have not seen a Patriots game from the RED section Smile this is your opportunity to see how plush the environment is for those expensive seats. The breakouts will take placed in the Box Seat rooms!  In addition, you could actually win TICKETS TO THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!!  (Assuming Pats are still in the race Smile)   Anyway, there is also a great opportunity to win incredible prizes from all of the sponsors as well as meet, get pictures, autographs from some of our past super stars, Patriots Alumni Deion Branch, Patrick Pass and Kevin Faulk during Happy Hour!  Definitely stick around for happy hour and if you like, bring your (or your kids) signature ball/Jersey to get signatures the easy way Smile.

All this and we have not even talked about the awesome training.  This is a first class event with top of the line speakers from companies like Microsoft, VMware, Docker, EMC and Red Hat as well as a community speaker representing GitHub and AWS.  Yes, lessons from all of these companies at a single event. WOW!

Covering Topics such as:

  • GitHub for Newbies [Jonathan Frappier]
  • Taking an Application from an Idea to Production with Docker [Docker]
  • vSphere 6.5 Security [VMware]
  • Herding Cats in the Cloud; Maintaining Operational Sanity in a Cloudy, DevOps World [Dewey Sasser]
  • Containers:  DevOps Enablers of Technical Solutions [Microsoft]
  • Virtualization for the Hybrid Cloud [EMC]
