Microsoft Virtualization for VMware Professionals IT Camp in Maine

This hands-on training that takes place on July 17, 2013, will provide an introduction to Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V for VMware professionals that are new to Microsoft Virtualization.  Join Symon Perriman, Microsoft’s Senior Technical Evangelist, to learn the Microsoft virtualization terminology, how to create and manage VMs and clusters, configure disaster recovery, and manage a hybrid Hyper-V and VMware datacenter with System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager, Operations Manager and Orchestrator.

Bio: As Microsoft’s corporate Senior Technical Evangelist covering Private Cloud, Virtualization & System Center, Symon Perriman is a recognized industry expert in datacenter management, cloud, virtualization, high-availability, disaster recovery, mobile technologies and social media.  Previously he was a program manager for Microsoft’s high-availability & virtualization teams and has been in the tech industry since 2002.  Symon holds several patents, contributed to four books, hosts the ‘Edge Show’ for IT Professionals and holds over a dozen certifications from Microsoft and VMware.
